Skills Immigration Selection Criteria
Invitations across a Skills Immigration draw may be issued on one of the following factors mentioned on the BC PNP points calculator:
- Level and field of education.
- In-demand occupations in BC.
- English or French language skills.
- Skill level and duration of work experience.
- Job offer from an employer in BC.
- Intent to work and live in BC.
- Other factors that address specific labour market needs.
The British Columbia PNP Skills Immigration Draws are an essential pathway designed for foreign skilled workers to obtain permanent residency in Canada. Candidates with high scores in the BC PNP points calculator are usually invited to apply for PR in a subsequent BC PNP draw.
