This program is designed to help employers in these regions fill labor shortages by facilitating a smooth path to permanent residency. What is the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)?

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a fast-track immigration program for employers in Atlantic Canada who need to hire skilled workers or international graduates. The AIP allows employers to offer jobs to qualified foreign workers and helps them and their families settle in the Atlantic provinces as permanent residents.

Eligible Occupations and Candidates:

The AIP is open to two types of candidates:

• Skilled Workers:
  Candidates with a valid job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada in areas such as healthcare, information technology, hospitality, engineering, and more.

• International Graduates:
  International students who have completed post-secondary education in Atlantic Canada and have a valid job offer from a designated employer in the region.

• Eligibility Assessment:
